National Health Service trusts are responsible for taking action to prevent, control and manage occurrences of infection. They are expected to have policies in place to enable them to deal with an outbreak as set out in the Health and Social Care Act 2008 Code of Practice on the prevention and control of infections and related guidance; no additional routine funding is available for outbreaks of Candida Auris.
