Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what assessment he has made of the (a) job security and (b) employment rights of on-demand workers.

The Independent Review on Employment Practices in the Modern Economy, led by Matthew Taylor will consider issues such as job security, pay and rights.

It will also consider whether definitions of employment status need to be updated to reflect new models, such as on-demand platforms.
