Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, how much his Department spent on carbon offsetting in each of the last three years; and to which companies payments in respect of carbon offsetting were made in each such year.

HM Treasury spent the following totals on Carbon Offsetting in each of the last three years:

13/14 – £37,140.00

12/13 – £36,720.00

11/12 – £37,980.00

All Carbon Credits were purchased from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC).
