Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many covid-19 lateral flow testing kits have been provided to pharmacies in (a) Lambeth and (b) Southwark; and what assessment he has made of the current availability of those kits to residents.

The information requested is not currently available. In January 2022, we have increased procurement of and delivery capacity for lateral flow device tests. We expect to have distributed 90 million tests a week in the United Kingdom through all channels. We now have the capacity to distribute up to 12 million tests a week in England through the pharmacy programme.
