Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what proportion of pre-sentence reports have recommended immediate custody for (a) men and (b) women in Crown courts in each of the last three years.
The information requested has been provided in the table below. The data shows the number and proportion of recommendations in pre-sentence reports prepared for Crown Courts in 2016 - 2018 where the sentence proposed was Immediate custody.
