Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what estimate he has made of the savings from the proposed closure of Hartlepool Magistrates' Court.
This question was answered on 15th September 2015
No decision has been taken to close Hartlepool Magistrates’ Court and County Court.
The consultation is open until 8 October and we will consider all identified savings once the consultation closes and all responses have been fully analysed.
