Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of why they have not received any compliant bids in the first round of bidding for the Type 31e frigate.

I am withholding the information requested as its release would prejudice the commercial interests of the bidders and of the Ministry of Defence.
