Meteor Missiles: Procurement

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government how many Meteor BVRAAMs have been ordered; and what is the delivery schedule for those missiles.
This question was answered on 16th July 2015
Deliveries of Meteor BVRAAM commenced for all buying nations, including the United Kingdom, in December 2013 following successful qualification of the missile design. Current plans will see this continue until 2020. I am withholding information about the quantities of missiles ordered as disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the capability, effectiveness or security of the Armed Forces and also relations between the United Kingdom and other states.
