Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the statement made by the Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs on 9 December 2018 that it would be a breach of international human rights law for the Thai authorities to extradite Hakeem Ali Alaraibi to Bahrain.

We are aware that Hakeem Al-Araibi is currently in detention in Thailand. This is a matter for the Governments of Thailand, Bahrain and Australia.
