Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask Her Majesty's Government how many girls under 18 are currently in custody in (1) secure training centres, and (2) secure children's homes in England.

There are a total of 22 girls under the age of 18 across the youth estate in England. Fourteen of these children are held in Secure Training Centres and the remaining eight are residing at Secure Children’s Homes.
