Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask Her Majesty's Government how many magistrates in England and Wales can currently sit as a presiding justice in (1) family, (2) youth, and (3) adult criminal jurisdictions; and how many in each category are due to retire in each of the next five years.

The information requested could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
