Question to the Home Office:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government how many visas have been issued to (1) doctors, and (2) nurses, for employment in the National Health Service in each of the last 10 years.

The Home Office does not hold the information requested. The closest available data relates to Certificates of Sponsorship used in visa applications, and is given in the table below.
