To ask Her Majesty's Government what recent discussions they have had with William Shawcross, former Special Representative on UK victims of Gaddafi-sponsored IRA terrorism, on his report on compensation for UK victims.

The Minister for the Middle East and North Africa, The Rt Hon James Cleverly MP, and I made a Written Ministerial Statement in response to Mr Shawcross's report on compensation for UK Victims of Qadhafi-Sponsored IRA Terrorism. As ministerial lead on the issue, The Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa and senior FCDO officials kept Mr Shawcross informed of work on the Government's response to his report.
