To ask Her Majesty’s Government when they expect to publish proposals regarding the repeal of section 73 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 following the recent consultation document on the balance of payments between television platforms and public service broadcasters.

The Government intends to publish its response to the Balance of Payments consultation later this year. The Government will set out its position in regards to section 73 in the response.
