Question to the Department for International Development:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what plans they have to retain (1) the Department for International Development as a separate Whitehall department, with a Secretary of State for International Development, and (2) the Independent Commission for Aid Impact.

All Machinery of Government changes are a matter for the Prime Minister.
The integrated defence, security, and foreign policy review will create the opportunity to reimagine how the UK engages internationally in the context of Global Britain. DFID is proactively supporting this work.
