Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of local authority private sector landlord licensing schemes.

Licensing is an effective targeted tool delivering improved standards and safety in the private rented sector in specific areas that are suffering from serious problems. The Department will shortly undertake a review of selective licensing.
