Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government what rights convicted prisoners have to dictate which books are stocked in prison libraries.

This information is not held centrally and could only be obtained at disproportionate cost. The final decision on whether particular books should be available in a prison library, or removed from it, for whatever reason, lies with the Prison Governor.
