Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what plans they have to improve the availability of Royal Navy warships.
This question was answered on 16th January 2020
Progress is already being made to improve performance, availability and resilience of the Type 45 Destroyers with the Power Improvement Project and the Equipment Improvement Plan. The arrival of the Type 26 and Type 31 Frigates in to service will also provide a step change in levels of availability.
