Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they intend to extend the 14-day limit beyond which destructive experiments on human embryos may not take place to 28 days.
This question was answered on 19th December 2016
The Government has no plans to amend the time limit in the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 1990 on the use of human embryos for research.
