Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask His Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the impact of Turkish shelling of the Yazidi village of Otlja on the Yazidi community; and what steps they are taking to support this community in northern Syria.

We do not hold sufficient evidence to comment on the reported shelling of Otlja. The UK is monitoring developments across northern Syria and working with partners to maintain stability and security in the region and to minimise risks to civilians.
