To ask Her Majesty’s Government what assessment they have made of the increase in the number of young people choosing to study for degrees at further education colleges as opposed to traditional universities.

An assessment of trends in entry to first degree courses at different types of Higher Education provider was included in the Higher Education Funding Council for England’s report “Higher education in England 2014: Analysis of latest shifts and trends”. The report is available at:
