Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what are the main purposes for which the new aircraft carriers will be used.

With an expected service life of up to 50 years, the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers will be highly versatile and potent warships, able to meet the widest range of tasks around the world; to include carrier strike, support to amphibious operations, humanitarian assistance, disaster relief and defence engagement.
