Question to the Department for Education:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether, in the event that a further education provider closes down, a student who had taken out loans to cover the cost of the course would be reimbursed.

Where a Further Education provider closes down, the Government will take steps to ensure that any government-funded learners who are affected are given an opportunity to transfer to another provider to complete their study.
