The practise of chiropody is regulated by the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC). Anyone wanting to use the title of chiropodist must be registered with the HCPC. A person who is not registered and either misuses the title, claims they are registered or claims they have chiropody qualifications, whether expressly or by implication, is committing an offence.
