Bahrain: Trials

Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty's Government whether the UK embassy in Bahrain has been prevented from observing the trial of civilians tried in military courts.

The trials in military courts have been closely monitored by the British Embassy in Bahrain. We continue to encourage Bahrain to meet its international and domestic human rights obligations.
