Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what was the total cost, per successfully trained recruit, of (1) Phase One and Two training at the Infantry Training Centre Catterick, (2) Phase One training at the Army Training Centre Pirbright, and (3) Phase One training at the Army Foundation College Harrogate, including trainee salaries and associated costs, in the most recent financial year for which figures are available.
The total cost per successfully trained recruit for financial year 2014-15 is shown below. These costs include trainee salaries as well as other associated costs such as equipment, permanent staff and infrastructure costs.
