Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they issued formal instructions to the Rail Delivery Group to deliver the 26–30 railcard trial; and if so, whether they will publish those instructions.

The Department for Transport did not issue formal instructions. This was an industry led initiative designed to gather evidence to inform a national roll-out of a 26-30 railcard.
