Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Baroness Sugg on 21 June (HL8450), what role the Department for Transport had, if any, in the conception and delivery of the 26–30 railcard trial.

The Department for Transport did not issue formal instructions. This was an industry led initiative designed to gather evidence to inform a national roll-out of a 26-30 railcard.
