Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 10 July 2015 to Question 2952, if he will make it his policy to secure accredited Living Wage Employer status for his Department from the Living Wage Foundation.

All DCLG employees are currently paid above this and above the current London and National living wage as defined by the Living Wage Foundation. DCLG will continue to seek to pay their employees at or above the Living Wage (as defined by the Living Wage Foundation) provided increases are affordable within Civil Service pay controls.
