Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how much his Department has spent on the Type 32 frigate programme.

Development work for the Type 32 Frigate programme is continuing to be undertaken across a number of defence organisations and programmes. The information on costing for this programme is not held in the format requested and I will write to the right hon. Member with further detail.
