Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to page 20 of the NAO report on the Equipment Plan 2022 to 2032, HC 907, published on 29 November, what assessment he has made of the consequences for his policies of the decision by Navy Command to withdraw plans for the Type 32 frigate programme.

The Type 32 Frigate programme remains in the concept phase, and the programme and procurement strategy will be decided following the completion of the concept phase.
