Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the Land Industrial Strategy, what steps he is taking to ensure that land procurement programmes contribute at least 20% to social value policy outcomes.

The Land Industrial Strategy Objectives Framework, currently being finalised by the Department, has been developed to ensure that approval of the Business Cases for future Army equipment programmes ensure a 20% weighting in evaluation of criteria linked to social and industrial value outcomes.
