The Secretary of State fully understands the importance of Bombardier to Northern Ireland and has been closely engaged on this matter, meeting with both the Secretaries of State for Northern Ireland and Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy in support the Government's approach.

Alongside this and as part of the wider Government efforts, we have made it clear to Boeing that this is not the behaviour we would expect from a long-term strategic partner and we have also raised our concerns about potential impact on Northern Ireland with the US Administration.
