Trident Submarines

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether any additional funds will be allocated to the Trident replacement programme in the 2017-18 financial year which have not already been budgeted for.

Like any large organisation we allocate funds to those activities that are the highest priority. The Dreadnought submarine replacement programme will provide the ultimate guarantee of our national security - it remains within its budget.
