Question to the Department for Business and Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, whether she has had discussions with Ofcom on compensating people who have experienced delays receiving mail from Royal Mail.

The provision by Royal Mail of fair and reasonable redress in respect of delays to deliveries under its universal service obligation is a matter for Ofcom as the independent regulator of postal services.
