Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what proportion of the vehicles used by his Department on Government business are electric vehicles.
This question was answered on 11th December 2020
Of the 225 vehicles used by the MoJ on Government Business, 11% are electric vehicles.
The MoJ is committed to reducing our carbon emissions and follow Government guidelines to ensure we consider the environmental impact when purchasing/using vehicles. By replacing vehicles with those that achieve the latest European Environmental standard and installing charging points across the estate, the MoJ is currently on target to achieve 25% of electric vehicles by the end of 2021.
