The number of offenders found guilty of an offence under Sections 58 and 59 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861, in England and Wales, can be found in the Criminal Justice System Statistics Quarterly at: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/criminal-justice-system-statistics-quarterly-december-2016). In 2016, there was only one conviction and that was made under Section 59 of the Act.

Data for 2017 is not yet available. This will be published in May 2018.
