Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of whether Belarusian special forces previously trained by the UK are active in the conflict in Ukraine.
This question was answered on 3rd March 2022
The UK suspended its Defence Engagement programme with Belarus in August 2020. We have seen nothing to corroborate claims that Belarusian troops have entered Ukraine.
