Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what his Department's guidance is on how soon after recovering from a covid-19 infection a person can receive a covid-19 vaccination.

Public Health England has issued guidance for healthcare practitioners which states that vaccination should be deferred in those who have tested positive for COVID-19 infection until they have recovered approximately four weeks after the onset of symptoms, or four weeks from the first confirmed positive test in those who are asymptomatic.
