Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the House of Commons Report: Disposal Database, updated in June 2022, what the cost to his Department will be of maintaining ownership of Claro Barracks until 2026.

The move of 21 Engr Regt from Claro Barracks to Marne Barracks is part of the single biggest estates change programme within Defence that will invest £5.1 billion in a more modern and sustainable estate that improves security and resilience, and also achieves significant social benefits and running cost savings of c£4.9 billion through the disposal of surplus sites.
