Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what discussions he has had with the Solicitors Regulation Authority on the conduct of Blackstones and BW Legal in their work on behalf of private parking companies.

The legal services sector in England and Wales is independent of government as are the legal services regulators and the Legal Services Board is the oversight regulator. Ministers have had no discussions with the Solicitors Regulation Authority on the conduct of these firms.
