Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of the (a) role and (b) political outlook of the Azov regiment within Ukraine’s armed forces.

The current role of the Azov Battalion is as a component of the Ukrainian National Guard, as part of its Eastern Operational Territorial Command; its primary area of responsibility being Mariupol.
