Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many times a senior responsible owner role in his Department has been vacant for at least one week in each year since 2019.

This information is not held centrally. Short gaps may be experienced when a senior responsible owner moves on sooner than expected. While recruitment action is undertaken, temporary cover will be provided to ensure an accountable individual is in place who can take decisions and progress the programme.
