Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what capabilities the £2bn of funding for Armed Forces stockpiles allocated over the next two years will be spent on.
This question was answered on 30th March 2023
The Department is currently working through the outcome of the Spring Budget on 15 March and it is too early to provide an indication of how the funding for future years will be allocated.
Work is currently underway to determine a package of deliverable investment choices to maximise the benefit of this funding towards replenishing and securing our military stockpiles.
