Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to the Royal College of General Practitioners' report entitled Fit for the Future GP Pressures 2023 published in March 2023, whether his Department has made an assessment of the potential merits of suspending the Quality of Outcomes Framework.

The Government has committed to undertaking a review of the Quality and Outcomes Framework in its current form during 2023/24 with the aim of making it more streamlined and focused. The profession, representative patient groups and the broader system will be consulted to determine the most appropriate form in 2024/25.
