Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what steps he is taking to secure greater export opportunities in the defence sector.

The Defence Command Paper Refresh, published on 18 July 2023, stated the Government’s commitment to increasing defence exports, which includes placing a premium on exportability during capability development and selection; taking a whole of Government approach, through a Defence and Security Exports Inter-Ministerial Group driving priorities; and delivering Government-to-Government frameworks for key partners to support both capability collaboration and exports.
