Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many service complaints in the (a) Army, (b) Royal Navy, (c) RAF and (d) tri-service took more than one year to be resolved in each year since 2016.

Defence aims to resolve Service complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible, however, there are instances, particularly where a case is complex, which can take longer than one year to resolve.
The number of admissible Service complaints by Service with a time to closure of over one year:
