Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what estimate he has made of when the new subsea protection vessel formerly known as RFA Proteus will enter service with the Royal Navy.

RFA PROTEUS is the new Multi-Role Ocean Surveillance Ship. It is a matter of longstanding policy that the In Service Date for ships are not released for operational security reasons.
