Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what steps he has taken to strengthen defence procurement in the last 12 months.

We are tackling the systemic issues that are impacting on the delivery of programmes by setting our programmes up for success at the outset, tailoring our processes and increasing the capacity and capability of our senior responsible owners leading our biggest projects.

However we can do more to improve and are committed to learning the lessons of the Sheldon review.
