An indicative breakdown of Defence's spend can be found in previous years' Annual Reports and Accounts, which are published annually. Except in specific circumstances, for example in our projections to NATO or under our transparency commitments in the Equipment Plan, the Department does not release cost projections into the public domain, as these have the potential to undermine the effective running of the Ministry of Defence, and has implications for its commercial negotiations.
